This Privacy Policy does not apply to the personal information we collect by other means or from other sources. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given them in our Terms of Use.

What information we collect

LoongList uses personal information we collect to provide the Service, analyze how the Service is used, diagnose service or technical problems, maintain security, personalize content, remember information to help you efficiently access your account, monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns, and track User Content and users as necessary to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable laws.

User-Provided Information: information (such as your name, email and postal addresses, telephone number, and country of residence) that you provide by completing forms on LoongList, including if you register as a user of the Services, subscribe to our newsletters, upload or submit any material through LoongList, or request any information; your login and password details, in connection with the account sign-in process; details of any requests or transactions you make through the Services; information about your activity on and interaction with LoongList, such as your IP address and the type of device or browser you use; information that you submit to LoongList in the form of comments, contributions to discussions, or messages to other users; and communications you send to us (for example, when you ask for support, send us questions, or report an issue).

You also provide us information in User Content you post to the Service. Your questions, answers, and other contributions on the Service, and metadata about them (such as when you posted them), are publicly viewable on the Service, along with your name. This information may be searched by search engines and be republished elsewhere on the Web in accordance with our Terms of Use.

If you choose to use our invitation service to invite a friend to the Service, we will ask you for that person’s email address and automatically send an email invitation. LoongList stores this information to send this email, to register your friend if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our invitation service.

How we protect your information

This data will not be publicly displayed or revealed to other users: any payment information you provide; your password details; your IP address; your phone number(unless you provide your contact information in your project); communications you send to us (for example, when you ask for support, send us questions, or report an issue); We don’t give your personal information to any third-party services, except when it’s necessary to provide LoongList’ Services (like when we partner with payment processors). When we share data with third-party services that support our delivery of the LoongList Services, we require that they protect your personal information to the same standards we do.

We do reserve the right to disclose personal information when we believe that doing so is reasonably necessary to comply with the law or law enforcement, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect LoongList’s legal rights.

What your information is in public

When you create an account, we create a profile page for you on LoongList, containing your account name, and a list of projects/events/properties you have launched. Whenever your account name appears on LoongList (for instance, when you post recommendations), people can click your account name to see your profile. The profile is searchable on LoongList or via search engines like Google. Here are some of the things that will be publicly viewable on your profile, or elsewhere on LoongList: the account name; any information you choose to add to your profile (like a picture, bio, your location, or your role); projects you’ve launched; events you’ve launched; property listings you’ve launched; any recommendations you’ve posted on LoongList; if you have “Connected” an advertiser or influencer.

Advertisers or Influencers are also asked to verify their identities before launching a campaign. Once this has been done, the advertisers or Influencers’ Verified Name will be publicly displayed on their account profile and on any campaigns/events/properties they launch.

How we use your personal information

We will use the personal information you provide to: identify you when you sign in to your account; enable us to provide you with the Services; send you communications we think you may find useful, but only in accordance with your membership preferences; enable us to contact you regarding any question you make through the Services; analyze the use of the Services and the people visiting to improve our content and Services, and use for other purposes that we may disclose to you when we request your information.

We take securing your data and preserving your privacy very seriously. We never post anything to your Facebook, LinkedIn, or other social accounts without your permission. We do not and will not sell your personal data.

Your choices about your information

You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Service, in which case LoongList may not be able to provide certain services to you. You may update or correct your account information and membership preferences at any time by logging in to your account.
